Summer!

I'm SO excted for summer 2013! From what I can tell it is going to be the best summer yet, or at least I hope it will be. Every year my family gets season passes to Six Flags, so Six Flags is kind of like our second home in the summer! Also this year I am going on a vacation to Florida with one of my bestfriends Hannah Jones. What i'm mostly excited for this summer the memories i'll make with friends and family. Also since we don't have school in the summer I can go outside all day long and spend time with friends. Another thing that I miss about summer is being so hot that your drenched in sweat then jumping into what feels like an icy cold pool!

A Amazing Ecxperience

One memory I wish I could bottle up and store is when I rode my first roller coaster! Now don't get me wrong I rode The Boss at Six Flags when i was only 6 years old. But my first REAL experience on a big roller coaster was when I was 10 years old and I went to Six Flags with Hannah Jones. I remember it so clearly, Hannah literly had to drag me up the long flights of steps and into the line for the Batman! Once we got in line I got a really bad case of butterflies I was terrified to go on the roller coaster. We were finally up next in line I took off my flipflops and sat in my seat while I got strapped in then suddenly we took off and fast! I was no longer scared when we were in the air I felt like I was on cloud nine almost as if I were batman himself flying through the air. It was a breathtaking experience! If I had this memory in a bottle I would open it only on the days that I was bored at home and wished I was at Six Flags! Guess what? I'm a huge daredevil on roller coasters.

Concert time!

In Febuary i'm going to a Red Jumpsuit Apparatus concert! I am really excited because i'm going to meet lots of new people and make lots of memories. Lets just say i'm so excited!

Is One Holiday More Special Than The Other?

I think that Martin Luther King jr. day is an important holiday because it reminds us of the disagreements our society dealt with in the past. It should definetly have no school on the day. I believe that Veterens day should also have no school because it honors the people of the past and present that stand/stood up for our country. Both holidays in my eyes are equally special. Therefore it does not make sense to me that one holiday has no school but the other does have school. In my opinion both holidays should be let off school.

Newtown Disaster

The popular tv channel, PBS, will have a week of shows dedicated to the Newtown shooting. The shows will be based on shooting themes and shows about making the victim families feel better. I feel that this is an excellent idea! This is exactly what people affectected by the disaster need. This is definatly a awesome idea.

My Awesome Weekend!

Over the weekend I had a really awesome time. On Friday I went to the skating rink for James Ziesmer's birthday party. It was a really fun party and I got a pair of sunglasses with a moustache that hangs down. On Saturday I hung out with Hannah Jones at my house until she had to go home. We had alot of fun we played Kinect Adventures for almost 2 hours and then we went to the YMCA, after that we watched scary movies on Netflix! By the way, now im out of popcorn haha! Sunday was my favorite day because I went shopping. First on sunday I went to see my mom's friends newborn baby, she was so cute! Lastly on Sunday I went shopping and spent 50 dollars on alot of really cool stuff! My weekend was great!

A Never Ending Journey To Success

Have you ever wanted something so truly badly yhat you would do anything for it? Well, I have! When I was in sixth grade I wanted to be on the 7th grade cheer squad SO badly, i had been practicing for 2 years in advance and cheer tryouts were in a week I realized then that I had worked so hard to get to that point. I had been practicing for 2 years which is a long time for 3 day cheer tryouts. It was a long journey kind of like walking down what seems like a never ending railroad track and FINALLY getting to the destination. My hardwork payed off ,I made the cheer squad.

Should I Give It Up For Another Passion?

               If you know me you know that I love cheerleading but behind my identity I really love soccer too. Ever since i was 4 I played soccer but when i turned 10 i quit to do Flipside cheerleading I loved going to Flipside every week but longed to be part of a soccer team that I loved again. Now I am a part of the Festus cheer squad and I love it alot but I really do wish I could do soccer again and maybe I will.
