Softball

On Saturday my softball team has a tournament.  I play for the St. Louis Chaos.  We are playing against seven other teams for our first tournament of the season.  We have played and beaten most of the teams in the tournament, so I think we will definitely win. Then, on October 14, we get to go to a clinic to meet Jennie Finch, who used to play on  Team USA until she retired two years ago. The clinic is just for St. Louis Chaos teams.

If I Had a Hundred Dollars...

If I had one hundred dollars I would give it to people in Hopeville.  Hopeville is like a small village in North St. Louis for homeless people.  They have old tents and automobiles to live in, and they all have old clothes with holes.  They also have a small amount of things to keep warm in the winter, so they have to find abandoned buildings to stay in.

Basketball

Basketball starts in November and I can't wait for it to start.  Basketball is one of my favorite sports and I love playing.  Normally in the winter I play on two teams, but this year I can only play  on one because school basketball is starting.  I think that our school basketball team will win conference because most of the people who will try out have been playing together this past season, and we have played most of the teams in our conference and beaten them.  We also took second in the Fox CNR league and we only lost two games.

Helping

A time I have been helped was when I was I in fifth grade, and I had broke my finger.  Alot of my friends helped me carry my books and things to the classrooms.  I also helped somebody one time when my friend hurt her ankle I had to help her carry her things because she was on crutches.  I like to help people because it makes me feel good, and it makes other people want to help you when you need it.  If more people helped out others than everbody would most likely treat people with more respect than they do today. 


Cross Country Meet

On Saturday the middle school cross country team is having their first home meet.  There's going to be many runners there and the top twenty-five runners in each age division get medals. I know there will be a lot of good runners there, but I'm hoping I can win this meet because I know how fast I need to run and I know the course very well.

9/11

On 9/11/01 I wasn't old enough to remember but I later learned that terrorists had flown commercial jets into the twin towers, the pentagon, and tried for the White House.  It happened at about nine in the morning and the north tower was the first to be hit.  The south tower was hit moments later.  The first thing that pops into my mind when I hear about nine eleven is one of the first things George W. Bush said to the country standing in front of the collapsed buildings.  "You have heard us, and the people who knocked down these buildings will hear us soon."

All About Me

I am very athletic; I play soccer, basketball, softball, and run cross country. Between all those sports I practice four to five times a week, but it's all worth it.  Last year my soccer team took second in Missouri State Cup playing a year up and earned a number two Missouri ranking.  My favorite colors are orange purple yellow and green.  In my free time away from sports and school, I like to go swimming or watch T.V.  My favorite T.V. show is Toddlers and Tiaras.
